Biography:
Salvo Bombara, born 1977, lives and works in Sicily. His studies went through natural science and chemistry and led him to his current main work in a chemical laboratory. The combination of scientific studies and an intense passion for photography has produced a deep analysis of light, breaking down its structure in order to find the desired frequency. Bombara’s work includes mainly two photographic genres: Infrared and Underwater. His photography received several recognitions in different countries and competitions, like prizes and honorable mentions at Moscow International Foto Awards, International Photography Awards, Tokyo International Photography Awards, International Photographer Of The Year, BW Spider Awards, Chromatic Awards, Color Awards, Monovisions Photography Awards, Monochrome Awards (...) also finalist at the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards 2016 and one of the two Italian photographer invited at the Addis Photo Fest 2016, his work has been exhibited in various locations and festivals around the world.
